Date nights are fun and important for couples. If you want to have a happy marriage, you need to keep dating each other.
Thinking of something to do on your date night night can be hard, especially when you don’t want to spend a lot of money.

These 20 date night ideas are divided into two kind of dates; stay at home dates and going out dates.
Date ideas for at home
It can be a lot of fun to cook together, and then eat together with some candle light. You can make this as hard and as expensive as you want.
Lay together on a blanket to watch the stars, you can make this even better if you do it on a day when there’s a meteorite shower.
Play truth or dare
If you like to have fun together, and challenge each other, this is a fun game to play with your husband.
Campfire in the garden
Add some wine (or beer) and roast some marshmallows together above the fire. This is a great date for when the both of you don’t have a lot of energy anymore but still want to do something together.
Not in the mood to talk? Then a movie night is for you. Get some snacks and get cozy on the couch together, watch that movie that you haven’t been able to see yet.
Game night can be a lot of fun, there are a lot of games you can choose from. Card games, board games, or maybe there’s another game you like to do. Here, we love to play darts together, we’re not good at it, but we like to play it.
Give each other a massage
Who doesn’t love to get a massage? Time to get the massage oils out and light the candles, put some romantic music on and you’re ready. The hardest thing is to decide who gets the massage first.
Make a bucket list together
Do you already have a bucket list together? If not, make one together, you can then use this list as an inspiration for future dates.
Take a bubble bath together
Bubble baths are relaxing, so turn up the music, open a drink and enjoy the bubbles together.
Play 'would you rather'
Get to know each other better with this game.
Going out dates
Have a picnic
A picnic is great, pack some snacks and drinks and go to the park. Or maybe you rather go to the forest or the beach. It doesn’t matter where you want to go, a picnic can be done everywhere.
Watch the sunset
Sunsets are beautiful, and they’re even better when you can enjoy them with the person you love. Look for a place where you can see the sunset good and get out there, my favorite place is at the lake.
Take a workshop
A workshop can be fun, and you’ll learn something new. What workshop would you like to do?
Visit a farmers market
Anyone who loves food will love to visit a farmers market. So if you or your partner loves food, this is a place you need to visit.
Go kite flying
If the weather is nice, and there’s a bit of wind, this is a great date.
Go to a climbing gym
If you’re a bit sporty, this will be a great date, have a look for a climbing gym in your area.
This is not for the people are scared easily. If you like a thrill, look for a ghost tour in your area.
Visit a garden
I love gardening, and if you or your partner do too, then this is great. There are a lot of different gardens to visit, botanical, tropical, or cottage gardens. This is great for nature lovers who can’t grow a garden and for people who want to get some inspiration for their own garden.
If you can go away for the night, camping is a great option. Enjoy each others company while sitting at the fire in the middle of nature.
Take the train (without a plan)
Yes, you read it right, riding the train without making a plan. Buy a day ticket and jump in the first train you see, get out somewhere if it looks interesting and see what you can do there. You don’t know where you’re going to go, or what you’re going to do, it’s a short adventure.
If you love riding the train and discovering new places, this is a great date for you.
Now you’ve seen these 20 date night ideas, what are you planning to do on your next date night? Are you going to stay home or are you going out?
