Why I love the Smartfold 600 (review)

The Smartrike 600 is a lightweight and compact foldable trike. The sizes when it’s folded makes it easy to store and leaves space in your trunk for other stuff.
Lifting it in and out of the trunk of your car is easy thanks to it’s lightweight (only 9.7 kg).

The Smartrike 600 has different functions so it grows with your child. The functions can be changed without tools in no time. When the trike is in parent control, you can use it as a stroller. Changing the control is done in a few seconds, even with your child in it.

I’ve been wanting a new stroller for a long time now and have been researching a lot. After having two strollers that I ended up hating, I really wanted to make sure that I would love my new stroller. While researching I came across this trike, it has everything that I wanted for my new stroller, and it’s even a trike for when my girl is a bit older.

This trike is easy to fold, and compact. Our house has a narrow hallway so I don’t want to have a large stroller standing there. The Smartfold 600 can be folded and is compact enough to fit in my hallway closet. Even when opened, the Smartfold 600 is compact enough to fit in stores with narrow aisles, while still having enough space for my daughter to sit comfortably.

The steering is easy and control over steering is easy to change, all you have to do is push a button and twist the front wheel 180 degrees. Only driving backwards is hard because the front wheel doesn’t stay straight. So when you want to go backwards you’ll have to push the handle down to lift up the front wheel, luckily I don’t need to drive backwards too often.

I was a bit disappointed that I didn’t get a rain cover with it since I did get that with the stroller, but I might be a bit spoiled.
You can buy a rain cover separate here, it only costs €12,99 at Amazon.

Personal opinion

I love the Smartfold 600, it solves all the problems I had with the two stroller I owned (I gave them away). My girl also loves it, she loves steering even though she doesn’t have control over it now. I’m now on the lookout for a sort of horn or something to put on her steering wheel (I might regret that after a while).

I also loved that I didn’t need to assemble it, I didn’t need to use any tool. You only need to fold it open and attach the front wheel, the explain how to do that with drawings. The only part that you need a tool for (a screwdriver), is the leg rest. The screwdriver you need for that is included.

I’ve never even seen this before! How cool!

This looks really good, I got something similar a couple of years back, but it doesn’t fold up, which can make it tricky to fit into the car. I wish I had gotten this one instead! Trikes are great though, toddlers really love it. A bit of a pain when they fall asleep in it though, which has happened way too often 🙂
